How does this work?
What is a Backpack account?

A Backpack account provides students with a central place to sign in to do the following:

  1. View their student information including demographics, attendance, classes, grades, lunch balances, and test scores.
  2. Apply or register to Special Focus schools and programs (Fine Arts Center, Career Centers, etc.)
  3. Access Educational Apps like Google Apps, Discovery Education, Overdrive, and more.
  4. View their school information and contact.
Okay, great! So how do I get started?

If you're a current Greenville County School District student, simply sign in with your district provided username and password.

If you're a non-district student, get your parent or guardian to sign up at parents.gcsbackpack.com.

I get it now. I'm ready to: Sign In / Sign Up.
